Apply for Support The Yearlings’ Scholarship Fund The Yearlings began by fundraising for local college scholarships. Consistent with this strong tradition of supporting education, each year the Yearlings’ Scholarship Fund contributes a $5,000 scholarship to Thomas More College and a $5,000 scholarship to Northern Kentucky University, both of which are awarded to non-traditional female students. Applications for these scholarships are made by students enrolled in these academic institutions directly through their schools. High School Scholarships In 2005, The Yearlings began granting two scholarships to students attending high school in Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties. The two scholarship recipients are chosen based on community involvement and commitment to future service. Scholarship applicants must be graduating seniors as scholarship funds are paid directly to the Bursar’s Office at each recipient’s respective college the following year. Scholarship applications are available each January. If you are interested in receiving a high school scholarship application, please contact us at mailbox@theyearlings.org. Charity Support In addition to their extensive fundraising for education, The Yearlings annually raise funds to support selected Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati community-based charities. The Yearlings engage in a detailed charity application review process to determine the specific needs of local charities and to make selections primarily based on need. The charity review process begins in January each year. If you are interested in receiving a charity support application, please contact us at mailbox@theyearlings.org.
